LESLIE NUNN REED
Leslie Nunn Reed has more than twenty years of experience in marketing, promotion, and communication development and management. She has consulted with several for-profit and non-profit organizations in planning total communications programs and campaigns in addition to implementing strategies and new concepts.
She’s served as Vice President of Marketing for Super Suppers (a national Take n’ Bake meal franchise) and led the marketing team for Thomas Nelson Live Events, producing Women of Faith and Revolve Tour events across the country.
Her expertise in product development has contributed to the successful launches of licensing programs for titles from bestselling New York Times author Max Lucado, including 3:16, He Chose the Nails and Facing Your Giants—as well as for Women of Faith and The Prayer of Jabez™.
She has served as the Managing Editor of Possibilities, an international publication with a readership of 750,000, where she interviewed celebrities, business professionals, and sports figures and supervised the editorial and design staff. Her numerous articles and cover stories have appeared in magazines, newsletters, and newspapers.
Prior to forming Nunn Communications, Inc., she was the Product Marketing Manager for Nest Entertainment (now NestFamily.com), a producer and marketer of children’s animated videos. There she created new products, television infomercials, commercials, catalogs, product packaging, direct mail campaigns, and telemarketing programs. During the theatrical release of Nest’s full-length feature film, The Swan Princess, Ms. Reed planned public relations and media events and coordinated product licensing for retail merchandise of the movie characters. She also served as the Director of Product Development, managing licensing programs and launching a robust e-commerce site.
Ms. Reed was the Vice President of the publishing consulting firm Publishing Directions, Inc. in Washington, DC, where she worked for six years with numerous clients in producing magazines, brochures, annual reports, and advertisements. She managed various circulation programs and media plans and helped launch two national titles for Thomas Nelson Publishers; she was the Associate Publisher of Today’s Better Life magazine and the Advertising and Circulation Director of A Better Tomorrow magazine (now Grandparenting).
Ms. Reed holds the B.S. degree in Sociology and Communication from Wheaton College (Illinois) and is a member of Wheaton’s Board of Visitors. She lives with her family near Dallas, Tex.
